Since the establishment of Doncaster Children’s Services Trust in October 2014 the Trust has worked tirelessly to attain the best possible social care services for the children, young people and families of Doncaster.
In November 2017 its Children’s Social Care Services were rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The last twelve months has also seen the Trust, achieve Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ ratings for its Fostering and Adoption services and two of its children’s homes.
Our ambition for the Trust does not stop there we believe that the rapid improvement actions the Trust and its partners have put in place has placed us on the trajectory to achieve an overall Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.
This temporary Head of Service for Performance & Improvement will be integral to the Trust achieving its ambitions. This opportunity will give real exposure in developing strategies and plans to support the whole spectrum of children’s social care. The role may also give opportunity to work with other children’s social care providers across the UK.
