We are an award winning social housing organisation, employing approximately 800 people, responsible for the management and maintenance of Doncaster Council’s 20,000 homes.

Business Transformation is responsible for;

  • Collection and publishing of performance information from across the business
  • Benchmarking against other Housing providers
  • Business improvements using improvement methodologies
  • Leading on Change in the organisation

This role will undertake all of these activities.

About the role

As a member of the Business Transformation Team, you will be seeking out opportunities which enhance and develop our services for maximum efficiency, value for money, customer access and inclusion.

You will be a lead advisor on all aspects of transformation, and bring a fresh and creative approach to enable St Leger Homes to make improvements to processes and practices. This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • bring about genuine improvements to the services that matter to our customers and communities
  • collate, analyse and use performance information to guide improvements
  • identify and introduce technology which streamlines processes and improves the user experience
  • Facilitate Change by working with all levels of the organisation

You’ll be joining a well-established and supportive team, with responsibility for assisting all areas of St Leger Homes to review their services and implement improvements, and you could find yourself working anywhere in the business. In the role, you will help to bring together different areas of the organisation, so you’ll have the confidence to facilitate and support a group through a process, provide supportive challenge, and empower individual team members to contribute to the bigger vision.

About you

Our perfect fit will be a, forward thinking, naturally inquisitive individual with the ability to work with people as well as having a good grasp of a range of technologies and data collection packages such as Microsoft excel and information systems. You will have knowledge of LEAN and other improvement methodologies. You’ll be comfortable leading workshops and asking probing questions. Analysing and understanding data, producing performance information in a reader friendly format and communicating change to a variety of audiences is a feature of the work. You’ll have the motivation, enthusiasm, creativity and, at times, tenacity to bring about continuous improvement and help make the organisation the best that it can be. Knowledge or experience of LEAN or other improvement methodologies would be an advantage.

A confident influencer, you’ll have a talent for developing positive relationships and be able to bring on board colleagues at all levels as required to develop services that better meet the needs of our customers.
