Did you know that 1 in 6 people of working age have a diagnosable mental health condition and mental health is the leading cause of sickness absence in the UK with the cost to employers estimated at over £30 billion. Positive steps by employers to improve the management of mental health in the workplace should enable employers to save at least 30% of this cost.

This FREE event is jointly organised by Public Health England , Sheffield Mind and the 4 South Yorkshire Local Authorities and is an opportunity for you to have your say and help shape a way forward to improve mental health in the workplace . Come along and voice your experiences, concerns and constraints and tell us what we can do to help you to improve mental health in your workplace.
