The best part – it’s open to everyone.
As one of the world’s largest retail companies, we have an unrivalled range of equipment and facilities, so there are a huge variety of challenges you can work on during this four year engineering apprenticeship scheme. You will graduate into a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer position on successful completion of the program where we will continue your development, allowing you to grow with the business.
The scheme combines; an initial block learning ‘off the job’ element combined with short spells working at one of our Fulfilment Centres that will give you a thorough and detailed insight into what we do in Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) and give you the basic skills necessary before working on our equipment; ‘day or block release’ training at a specialist college to study for an HNC in Mechanical or Electronic & Electrical Engineering; and also on-the-job training in a Fulfilment Centre where you will be closely mentored by our engineers. As an apprentice maintenance engineer, you’ll play a key part in one of our Fulfilment Centre RME teams, carrying out supervised fault finding/rectification and planned maintenance on some exciting automation technologies and gaining skills covering all our building facilities. You’ll be adding value to the wider business and positively impacting our customers’ experience from very early-on in your amazon career.
